Tuesday, July 6 at 6 pm EST: the READING CLUB will meet to discuss the first four chapters of “Out of My Mind” by Sharon M. Draper. They will be assigned an optional writing assignment for homework.

Tuesday, August 10 at 6 pm EST: Annabelle will lead a HISTORY DISCUSSION on the Pacific front of World War II. Topics that will be covered include the social impact on East Asians in the United States, strategies employed by the British and American forces in comparison to those of Japanese forces, and the use of the atomic bomb against the cities of Nagasaki and Hiroshima.
Tuesday, August 17 at 6 pm EST: the READING CLUB will meet to discuss the highlights of the chapters that were read for homework, as well as the conclusion of the story.
